1. What this application does

YouTube Notification Bot ("the Bot") is a Telegram bot that monitors selected YouTube channels and delivers new video notifications to users via Telegram.

2. Data we collect

When you use the Bot, we collect and store the following data:

• Telegram user ID and username — to identify you and deliver notifications.
• YouTube channel IDs and titles — only the channels you explicitly select for notifications.
• Subscription preferences — which channels you have enabled or disabled.

3. Google user data

The Bot requests read-only access to your YouTube subscriptions (youtube.readonly scope) via Google OAuth2. This access is used solely to display your subscription list so you can choose which channels to follow.

We do not:

• Store your Google access or refresh tokens permanently on the server.
• Access any data beyond your YouTube subscription list.
• Share, sell, or transfer your Google data to any third parties.
• Use your Google data for advertising, analytics, or profiling.

4. How we use the data

• To show you your YouTube subscriptions and let you select channels.
• To subscribe to YouTube push notifications for your selected channels.
• To download and deliver new videos from those channels to your Telegram chat.

5. Data storage and security

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database on a private server. Access to the server is restricted. We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no system is 100% secure.

6. Data retention and deletion

Your data is retained for as long as you use the Bot. You can request deletion of all your data by contacting the developer. Upon request, all your records (user, subscriptions, delivery history) will be permanently removed.

7. Third-party services

The Bot interacts with the following third-party services:

• Google / YouTube API — to read your subscriptions and receive video notifications.
• Telegram Bot API — to communicate with you and deliver videos.

Use of Google API data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
